"House, M.D." Episode Review
It's a few days late, but up nonetheless. Also, I need a House icon. Anyone have any I can snag?
The season seems to be getting off to a great start, with the second episode being a solid one. The CGI scenes of the video game were amazing, and whoever did them deserves some credit. The fictional gaming console that the game was for was pretty neat too - the player interacts directly with the game via a headset and some sort of pad that records their every move. Hopefully, that will be what game consoles looks like in the near future.
Back to the episode…seeing House cope with the pain in his leg by taking up cooking was interesting, and it was fun learning that he is really good at it. His interaction with Wilson was great (House was his roommate for a few days!), now we just need more of it. The case with the video-game designer had the usual twist in it, showing the tension between Foreman and Thirteen. I just hope Taub comes back when House does!
I’ve never really gotten the Foreman/Thirteen pairing, so that aspect of the episode was a bit blah to me. But I liked everything else, and hope the character development for House continues.
My favourite part: House cooking strange foreign recipes and being awesome at it.
