Watching Oprah today while I should have been writing my take home essays, she said something to the effect of, "All of us here on Earth are angels for each other," and I truly believe this. It doesn't matter to me if you go to church 5x a week, or not at all. It doesn't matter to me if you consider yourself affliated with any religious domination, or you don't consider yourself spiritual at all. None of us really know...none of us really know what is going to happen when we die, despite what we may believe and have read, those are only glimpses of the possibilities that await us. But we all know what we have is today. Each day we are given is gift, how we choose to use it is up to us. We all know that bad things happen. That we wage wars and hurt others for stupid reasons. We say things we dont mean, we judge, we hate. We think we're all just getting by, but with these attitudes, we're really dying inside. The only thing we can really do, is be angels for each other. Because wouldn't it be nice if we all had a magic cape to protect us, like the little girl in Crash? Maybe one day we'll be lucky enough to be someone else's cape.
