It's impossible to know how to start this entry.
After having four exams over 4 consecutive days, they are finally over, and although I am relieved I'm convinced I failed at least one.
I swear, I'm getting dumber as the years go by. :-/
Friday night was our requisite end-of-exams party, but since I was working early Sat'day morning I was driving and going sans alcohol.
Which was fine, except for the fact I felt very sober all night and had numerous shyness attacks whilst talking to this guy I kind of like...
So after my responsible leaving-early performance, I get home only to spend hours wide-eyed in bed struggling to get to sleep; yeah, exams have really messed up my sleeping patterns. On top of that, being consumed by thoughts of guy mentioned above and subsequent lamenting of the fact he is going away for almost all of next semester..... WHAT WILL I HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO EACH DAY AT UNI?
Worked all day on Saturday - had to work a few hours overtime due to a veterinary emergency (well, not really, a drip line just got occluded somehow and being that I was there on my own had to call the vet back, and wait for her to drive back so I could assist in fixing it). Work was not altogether bad though, and I will really enjoy finally having more than $10 to live on and having to eat toast and canned soup for dinner!
Saturday night was my wonderful friend Susie's 21st birthday which was a fabulous riproaring all-night celebration involving booze, drugs, and crazy punks (minus the drugs for me), but being exhausted I fell asleep in Suse's bed by like 1:30am. I was only planning to have a short nap before re-joining the party... plans which were foiled when I woke up, checked my watch and discovered it was already 8am the next morning and everyone else was retiring for the "night".
I guess the high point of the night was seeing all my old friends :) and also my awesome Frangelico-Kahlua-Vodka-Lemon Squash cocktail concoction. The Kahlua sank to the bottom and made it look quite pretty - I called it the "Shit Sunrise".
I guess the low point was watching Lachy (my ex) snort lines off the cover of Susie's Bring it on DVD.
I'm going to have a shower because I feel kinda seedy. Dinner with Dave tonight and then off to the night-cat for some salsa dancing. Whoo!
