BOOYAH!

So this morning, I woke up early on a day I didn't have to to try AGAIN to go exchange my traveler's checks. SUCCESS!! I found the office after marking all over my map where it was supposed to be and getting the building number and everything. I was so excited, not just because I found it but also because that money has been driving me crazy. Not many places actually take traveler's checks, so I had all kinds of money...that I couldn't do anything with. So NOW I have money in my pocket and succeeded at something that I didn't get the first time. After that, I went to go buy some of my textbooks which were wicked expensive. One was about $75 and the other was $45. BOO! and I'm pretty sure we can't sell them back at the end of the semester...perhaps I'll sell them to Half Price Books when I get back to the states. The bookstore I had to buy them at was really cool because it also had a whole lot of books in English. I got excited. :) Anyway, so I'm feeling really accomplished, and I'm excited about my weekend trip today. My roommate, Paige, and I are going to Venice!! I have no idea what we are really going to see there, but I'm sure we'll find something to look at and take pictures of while wandering the streets.
