Fainting
I was watching the Rose Bowl last night (which was incredible, by the way), lying down on the couch, when I got up to go to the bathroom at the end of the third quarter. I guess I got up too quickly, because as soon as I entered the bathroom I started feeling incredibly lightheaded. The next thing I knew, I was curled on the ground. I thought, "That's odd," then realized I must have fainted. It's a very odd sensation -- it's the first time I've involuntarily lost consciousness. I stood up and finished my business. I was lucky not to have wet myself.
