(no subject)
I had some time to rest this weekend and it made a world of difference. Ok, there's still nothing I can do about the job situation, but at least I had time to get the house in some order. We had no plans at all so we just leisurely got stuff done as we wanted to. It was nice for a change. Maybe I did just need a little break from the craziness because I am feeling a lot better starting out this week.
There's another reason I'm in a good mood on this very dreary Monday. Tonight we get to see our little jelly bean! We are having a 3D ultrasound and I can't wait. I'm supposed to get digital copies of all the pictures they take, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to post them. My mom and my in-laws are coming along with us tonight. We are going to a ultrasound center that allows you to bring family members to watch. I have my doubts about how well my mother-in-law will behave, but she's already been warned. My husband made it clear that she is a guest and that if she gets out of line, she'll be asked to leave. Ok, I know that it sounds like we've disciplined a 5 year old...but that's how we have to deal with her. She already told us that she will ask the ultrasound technician to find out the baby's gender and just tell her! Yeah, ok....NO!!!!! That's why my husband said what he said. In my opinion - totally justified.
