Death From the Sky

I am currently driving my old minivan. Don't be jealous, it doesn't become you. Many of you (all 6 of LJ my friends) may remember DeVan from college. She still has her beads (although not nearly as many because my dad doesn't like to drive it to work with mardi gras beads on the mirror) and her "I Love My Van" vanity plate. Oh the moments I relive each time I drive the old thing somewhere... get your mind out of the gutter... they aren't those kind of memories.

The Jimmy is the big topic of debate in my household at the moment. In all reality I don't understand why it is such a big deal because I take care of everything my car needs. My dad thought that he could fix it and tried, but the problem is more difficult then we first thought so I have to make an appointment. I got scolded by my mother for not calling earlier, but at that time I was still under the impression that it could be easily fixed by my dad. Oh well... I have money set aside for this type of thing so everything will work out. This is one advantage of being 23 and living at home... I have very few expenses so I save a lot. The disadvantages of living at home are that I get scolded like I'm 15 again. I however love my family... so I will put up with them because they put up with me ;-)

Giant balls and spears of ice are currently falling from the T.V. tower. It is a seriously scary thing. I went out to move my van to safety and on my way back I heard the ice on the tower crack... it sounded a lot like thunder... so I sped up my journey to the building. I looked outside and there is a chunk of ice that has made itself a crater in the grass just out side of the prodution office. Its actually a neat thing... makes life interesting. I have yet to see it fall... I hope I see it... and I hope when I do see it that it isn't the moment before it smacks me in the head.

Last cut in then home!!!
