Some of you may know that there is a test of Japanese language ability here called the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. I had taken the most difficult level (Level 1) when I first arrived in Japan and failed. Two years later, I took it again with much better results.

I just ordered a set of study guides to help me pass the JLPT 1. One of my goals while in Japan is to do this monstrous academic thing. Here's hoping these Kanzen Master books are a good investment, which I've been told they should be.
