果てない星の海へ
A friend of mine told me about a store in Akihabara that stocks import games (that is, games from America and Europe). Star Ocean: First Departure was released in America this past Tuesday, October 21. I happened to be idly surfing the import game store's website (カオス館) and noticed they had it in stock.
I threw on a change of clothes and got on the quickest train(s) to Akihabara.
Not much else to say, so I'll just finish up with these pictures.

And here's a shot of the game on my PSP, proving that it is in fact an overseas version.
I feel like a silly fanboy. It's pretty cool to see all that work in final product form, though.
