I'm Dead
Not really, but I might as well be with all the updating I've not been doing.
So I'm in a net cafe now because I am suffering from internet withdrawal. I moved from my old apartment in 綱島 (Tsunashima) to my (questionably) new apartment near 久地 (Kuji) station on the much maligned JR南武線 (Nanbu Line). It's quite a bit smaller than the previous town I lived in, so it's a lot quieter. Also, my commute to work has become shorter by about 5 minutes thanks to the location of the apartment in relation to the station (less than 10 minutes away). Of course, since Japan is Japan, this meant that it would be about 2 weeks until I get internet access in the new place (currently scheduled for September 5th). In any case, I've moved and settled in to the new place, and it's not so bad. If you wish to know my new address in Japan, please apply for that information via e-mail.
That's it for now. Nothing else of note has happened, unless you consider finding a pretty nifty and cheap (and legal!) online way to move funds between my Japanese and American bank accounts noteworthy.
