Has anyone ever used this credit card?  I applied for one about 2 weeks ago and I wanted to know if anyone has any good or bad experiences with using the card

Anyone know where I can pick up some USD on par? I'd trade it at work, but they only give 95c on the dollar...
I really don't want to deal w/ silly exchange rates, I just want to hand over $100 & get $100 given back to me.

I have a friend in the US who is dealing with some Canadian companies that only want to deal with a Canadian dollar account drawn on a Canadian bank. He's wondering if anyone knows of a bank that will let him open an account up here without physically being present, by faxing a passport or something for proof of identity.

Anyone know?

This may sound like a sort of stupid question but no one I know can help me out.
I have change (rolled) that I want to bring to the bank and get changed into cash or deposited.
Would banks (specifically TD Canada trust) accept half filled rolls of change? I know I could wait until it's filled, but there is no way that I can save up $50 in toonies, ( Read more... )

Just a heads up to the Montreal community. My debit card was recently compromised, likely at a Pharmaprix in the Downtown West area and a substantial (for me at least) amount of money was stolen. Because the machine also stole my pin number the bank (TD) is refusing to refund the money. They claim it is my responsibility to keep my personal ( Read more... )
