Riding lessons / trail riding
I'd love to go riding sometime soon, and I'm looking for places to go for both trail riding and proper riding lessons. I think there's probably nothing on the island, but I'm happy to travel - for lessons, anything within an hour drive of Montreal or St. Lazare/Hudson (so it could be in Ontario, really) would be fine. For trail riding, I'm willing to make a road trip out of it, so really anything in Ontario, Quebec, or the nearby United States. The farther it is, the more spectacular the trail would need to be, of course :)
Just looking for recommendations - I'm finding it tricky to make the internet tell me anything about the quality of different stables and their trails. Last post in the memories about riding is from 2005, so I think an update is in order!
