Dog Coats
I've noticed the last week or so while walking my dog that nearly every dog I see is wearing a coat. Not just tiny dogs or thin dogs (like say, a greyhound) but regular labs and dobermans and such.
My husband and friends think I am being ridiculous, but I wonder if my dog needs a coat.
I have never owned a dog in a climate this cold before, so I don't know. I get varied answers when I ask various (global) pet forums so I want to ask Montreal peeps specifically.
My dog is a medium size short hair chow mix (see pic) if that matters. She is only outside when we go on our walks, about 20 minutes each, three or four times a day.
What do you all think?
