Bizarre
Just got back from the Pont du Gard, which was impressive... yet quite grey, considering it was pouring rain. Lots. Now i'm sitting somewhat damply in an internet cafe. Just wanted to share an email from my mother...
"Got your post card from Narbonne. It looks so pretty! Well, you can
marry a Frenchman, as long as he is a practising Catholic, likes animals,
and doesn't mind mothers-in-law visiting! Somebody at the Alliance
Francaise, married to a Frenchman, said they only make good husbands if
they move to America! :-) In their own country, they are the typical
European macho! :-) Well, you like to cook, and you like to wander
around barefoot, and you like children, so perhaps you wouldn't mind too
much being barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen!"
Um...
After the weekend Ann and Sarah will upload their pics, so I can share some photos of this excursion. No plans for tonight, as it's still raining - I'll stay in and try and do homework, none of which I really understand. Argh :-(.
