Mary was spending her weekend with George Michael. They were plans to watch the fireworks, but instead they stayed in their room, where they had no problem generating their own fireworks.

She filled him in on everything that had happened since she had last seen him, like Charlotte's latest gallery opening and how Dale turned into a bunny rabbit, the final exam performance for Mike's karaoke class, and giving Isabel some contacts that hopefully existed in other versions of Las Vegas. George Michael laughed at  Stan's attempt at ice fishing and G'Kar turning into a kitten, but he was not amused by Logan's advice or  G'Kar giving Mary a dress for her birthday. He also wasn't happy to hear about the former vice-principal's attempt to take over the island.

"I don't like the idea of you staying on that island without me, Mary," said George Michael. "What if something happened to you? What if this alien guy expects you to dress up for him? What if..."

"Listen to me, sweetheart. The moment anything weird happens, you can trust me to get the hell out of there," Mary reassured him.

George Michael still didn't like it, but he didn't want to argue about it. "Well, at least I know that you'll have a place to go to when you have to get out of Fandom," he said, handing her what appeared to be a jewelry box with a ribbon. "Happy birthday, Mary."

Feeling curious, Mary opened the box to find a key. She raised an eyebrow, thinking of the gift she had given him at Christmas. "So where do I find the door that works with this key, George Michael?" she asked.

"Remember that little beach house we saw the last time you were here? The one with the rose garden and the white picket fence?" asked George Michael.

"Yes, I remember... You didn't! Did you?" asked Mary, going from confused to ecstatic within seconds. Then she squealed and hugged him. "The house is ours? But how? I thought it was out of our price range?"

"After you left last time, I thought about it and went back to talk to the owners. They lowered the price," said George Michael, please to see her so happy.

"This is wonderful! I'm going to be out here every weekend now," said Mary, giddy with excitement.

[Got stuck going into work today and this is how I kept myself entertained. NFI, NFB, OOC = Love.]
