Hoodwinked premiere
So Tuesday night myself, falfax, _the_antihero, Rebecca, C2, detonate_for_me, and Carol Loftiss all went to the Hoodwinked premiere in Tulsa as advertised. I'll spare the details other than to say it was very cool. The movie was good, and the afterparty was fun. I talked to the director and one of the screenwriters for awhile, and had them sign the free hardback book they gave out to VIP attendees (which turned out to be $144 tickets), and thanks to Rebecca, we got in for free. I then hung around talking to Film Commission head Jill Simpson and ex-NBC morning show critic Dino Lalli (who I told always reminds me of Gene Shallit). I'd talked with him in the past by phone quite a bit. Free hors d'oevres and wine added to the fun.
The movie doesn't open nationwide 'til January 13th. The only other premiere by this point was a single one in L.A. 1,800 people attended this one.
