I'm needing your help! After an intense 14 hour editing session yesterday, I finished a trailer for my newest feature, Howling Moon.
But before I let it and the website go live, I want opinions, observations, critiques. I want it rough. I want this 2 minute piece to be flawless.
So please, if you have the means to download an 89 MB Quicktime file, go here now to get it, but please do not share it, and please give me feedback!
If I'm going to sell this thing to a distributor right off the bat, I need to know that this trailer is so good that someone who ordinarily wouldn't watch this type of film would be dying to see it; Which means if I have to recut this thing fifty times I'll do it.
EDIT: So far I've had the following critiques: Get rid of the opening chatter of backwards-voices, change the music from the 1:00 min. point onwards, raise the wolf howl to the front of the mix, lower the volume of the music more than I already have when dialogue is spoken, and sync the preacher's dialogue at the end a bit more. These are all great suggestions that I'll certainly be implementing.
EDIT AGAIN: Those who needed to chime in have already done so, so the link to the trailer has been removed. The new-fangled, best version will appear in the morning!
