Weekend Review
Friday night: Saw Black Snake Moan with
falfax, and we both loved it!
Saturday: Cleaned house, got caught up on e-mail, read a bit of Return of the Wolf Man, watched The Motorcycle Diaries (2002).
Sunday: I watched the three-hour epic Patton (1970), then immediately drove to the theatre to catch Zodiac with
falfax, which we both liked quite a bit. After spending two hours cleaning out the car, laundry, and getting paperwork ready for today, I started watching Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), until I got too tired.
Today I'll work half an hour on the new Vose documentary, do another read-through of
_the_antihero 's draft, another of mine, and then start communications in regard to changes. I'll also finish Arsenic and Old Lace and maybe watch Yojimbo (1961).
And oh, if you fondly remember what it was like to be a child in 1982, go here for a GREAT article on that summer for movies from a child's perspective. Wrath of Khan, E.T., Conan the Barbarian, Blade Runner...
