This weekend

Friday night was girl's night, so the men decided to do something crazy together after I finished reading the last twenty pages of The Davinci Code. We were having trouble deciding on something, so after bud, pina coladas, and some sort of cider, we went bowling til midnight, playing two games. Then at 1:00 AM Skylar lawpeepstook off and the rest of us decided to hit the turnpike and drive an hour and a half to the massive Cherokee casino in east Tulsa. techix got caught up in a three and a half hour poker game, winning $84, while robopresident, jimberly and myself played slots. robopresident used his last $00.01 ticket to play a Kenny Rogers' The Gambler slot, and that too ate his funds. At six AM jimberly went back inside the casino to break techix away from the card table (the rest of us were waiting in the car with complimentary water and coffee), and we headed back to Stillwater, arriving at 7:30 AM. The sunrise and fog were beautiful as we listened to Frances the Mute on the way back. Techix's rear right tire kept scraping, and I was afraid we'd break down, but it was otherwise wonderful.

I crawled into bed and slept for three hours, then got up for the day. falfax and I met up with tallwithglasses and lawpeeps to see the DaVinci Code at 1:00 PM. After that falfax and I watched the second half of Gia, then I watched the rest of The Exorcist II and the first half hour of The Amityville Horror II (to be continued after we return from the mall today). Cory arrived yesterday evening before his six week journey to Germany in a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the Bram Stoker's Dracula figures if anyone has them, and then see An American Haunting.
