First, a note of passing...
I was saddened at the passing of Don Knotts (aka Barney Fife, aka Mr. Furley). He felt like a family member to me, since I literally grew up watching his antics everyday of my childhood and teens. I can't wait to continue enjoying his talents on the rest of my Andy Griffith Show and Three's Company DVD sets. He will be sorely missed.
As if the recent passing of both Al Lewis and Don Knotts wasn't bad enough, it appears that Darren McGavin (playing the memorable Kolchak the Night Stalker, as well as the father from A Christmas Story) has died as well.
