Hair adventures~
So... I just went and got my hair permed! Or rather, tried to. I got the impression my hair didn't take the perm well.
It was interesting though. I had all the curlers and solution on, and one of those little plastic caps... and then there was the heater thing. But after that they unravelled a few, and seemed unimpressed with the lack of curliness. So I then had that solution washed out, and they seemed to put something different in. It took around a couple of hours.
The guy who did it was really nice though. And I felt slightly better about my Japanese when I managed to have conversations with him on various subjects. :)
But! The results. I was really pleased when I saw it wet - it was so curly! But then he blow-dried it, and... it went totally straight. My hair sucks :( He was a bit surprised, but then said if I didn't blow dry it, and just scrunched it with mousse and let it dry naturally, the real curls would stay. So we'll see.
After the (quite sad) straightness, they (at several points there were three people doing my hair simultaneously, it was weird) put in big fat curlers for styling. And they made my hair look awesome. I wish I could have taken a photo at the salon, because it looked so cute~
But then I walked home, and the wind blew most of those curls out :(
Basically, my hair is kind of rubbish. I'm interested to see how it'll look after I wash it myself.
