Day fifty-seven.
Y'all, there were over 300 prompts for the Back-to-School challenge. That is insanity. The [
post to claim prompts ] is now open, though, so sign up! YAY!
I should be doing actual work, or leaving feedback on one of the 60+ stories I'd saved in my memories to feedback since April, or, or. Picking out my remix story.

Do you prefer to sleep with Sam or Dean? Which one of them is more fun to wrestle with? Who throws the stick better when you're playing fetch? Which one slips you more dinner scraps under the table?
These are very important questions. The world needs to know.
Love,
K.

"Sleeping with Sam is like taking your life into your own hands. Or paws, as it may be. So Dean wins by default. He's also a big old cuddler, even if he'll pretend not to know anything about it in the morning and blame it on me.
"They're both fun to wrestle with and play fetch with, I couldn't choose. We don't use sticks, though -- not after this incident with some wood nymphs. Dean's better at throwing a ball, like he used to do it a lot, you know? Sam likes to throw a frisbee, and Dean laughs and makes jokes about what Sam learned in college.
"And you might not believe it, but Sam's the only one who lets me eat people-food! Like the pepperoni from his pizza. Pepperoni is my favorite. But he only does it when Dean's not around. Dean tried to make sure I'm eating "right" and "healthy" and "only get rewards for good behavior." Sam thinks Dean would make a good dad, but he only tells me that."

Oh god, It's so good to know I'm not the only feedback slacker around here. I went on a fb'ing binge last week, and then this week with kink/cliche and 50 states, I'm woefully behind again. *cries*
I just read mindreading, so I'll ask that Dean if he ever was tempted to (or ever actually did) drive out to Stanford and grab a peek at what Sam was thinking while he was away?

And OMG. Seriously. I about cried when I saw my "to feedback" section of my memories had 61 stories in it. I am so bad.
Dean will get back to you in a sec.

"Oh, god, the first time was just completely embarrassing. For me, not him; he was too young to be thinking about that kind of stuff! Plus, it was a little embarrassing because his fantasies were pretty lame. But I couldn't give him shit about it back then, because nobody knew I could do the mindreading thing.
"Sometimes I catch him at it now, though. And not the stuff he's thinking about on purpose, either. Just the stuff that'll pop into his head when he's falling asleep in the car. Then the amount of shit I give him when he wakes up depends a lot on how bad I want him to put those fantasies to good use."

"I lasted 27 years without Dad ever knowing, and I'm perfectly happy to keep it that way. If Sam can keep his damn mouth shut, of course. No to the second question, too. I don't think it was Dad, and if it was Mom, well. I kinda don't want to know."
Sam says:
"As if he really wants me to keep my mouth shut. That's not what you said last night, DEAN.
"As for our dad -- and Dean only told me this because I got him completely wasted on his birthday -- he never told Dad when we were kids because he was afraid that it meant that he was evil. Something bad. And that Dad would, I don't know, have to do something to make the ability go away. Or maybe even decide that Dean was too dangerous to have around. Obviously, Dean knows better now, but I think maybe there's still that lingering fear or worry that Dad'll look at him differently. So I bet he doesn't ever tell."
