25. Charlotte's Web - E.B. White
Fantastic children's book. Great for adults, as well. Great message.
24. Too Much Temptation - Lori Foster
This is the only romance novel, I've ever read. It actually reminded me of my husband and I when we first met, oddly enough. I'm a lot like the girl in this novel. She was 25 and a virgin, I was 21.
23. Wicked - Gregory Maguire
I love that the someone did a story about the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz -- what she was like as a child and how she became wicked. It was very imaginative. Oh and by the way, the good witch, Glinda, is actually a superficial, stuck-up b****! But, isn't that how a lot of so-called "popular" people are? It's a shame.
22. Prince Caspian - C.S. Lewis
Love the astrology elements. Very different from The Lion, The Witch & The Warddrobe, in that it's darker and has more mythological elements from different religions. If I remember correctly, for example, this is the book that had the Water Nymphs.
21. The Book Of Shadows - James Reese
I read this the first time I visited New Orleans, and it suited it well. A dark story, with some disturbing sexual things, going on. If you can get past that, it's a good story about a girl on a journey, finding out who she is, as a witch.
