30. Walking The Trail - Jerry Ellis
My husband is Cherokee, so this book has a lot of personal meaning for him. For me, it was fascinating, but at times, tragic. It's something that everyone should know about. I believe that the genocide of Native Americans was the American Holocaust. It really is comparable to that.

29. Memoirs Of A Geisha - Arthur Golden
Interesting look at the life of a geisha.

28. The Judas Tree - A.J. Cronin
I've been wanting to read this again lately. It's disturbing, but interesting how a man ruins his life and chances at love, at least a couple of times through his own sins.

27. Siddhartha - Herman Hesse
Fascinating portrayal of Siddhartha Guatama, though I'm not sure if it's supposed to be about him, The Buddha, based off of that, or just another man with that name. I love how he finds The Middle Way. I have yet to do that, for myself. I'm not Buddhist, but I could learn some moderation with some things (especially watching "Saturday Night Live" lately. I've watched at least, 3 or 4 episodes every day for a week! Though, they are not the full episodes, I still haven't been watching anything else!).

26. It - Stephen King
It is a great horror novel, but what I really love about it is the connection between these 7 totally different people. As children they were best friends, as adults they've grown apart, but they have to work together to defeat the evil that overtakes their city in Maine. It's just odd that 7 people could be so close, but I suppose it could happen!
