This is Tigr draped across me. I'm on the couch under a blanket and rag rug. The rag rug is to protect me from Tigr's tiny, but very sharp claws. She doesn't scratch, but I can feel those claws when she walks across me. Tigr loves to lie on me. She sometimes stays in the closet behind the couch, but somehow knows when I lie down. She's out in a flash and on top of me. This is her place. She's a very sweet and affectionate little cat. She usually sleeps on top of me or alongside me curled up against my stomach.
It's winter and I know it because we've had a streak of cold weather. It's not as cold as it used to get, but it's cold enough that I have to turn my heater on. That gets to be expensive. We may get some snow flurries tonight, but no real snow storm. There's been no real snow yet this winter. It could come in February or even March, though. The Blizzard of 1993 began on March 13th. New York City had 12.3 in (31 cm) of snow back then. I'd continue, but I must go out now. More later...
