Yesterday were Silver Knight interviews and despite my eyes having holes burnt into them by the sun (i ended up buying new shades at Parrot Jungle, it was so much fun. We met everyone in the teachers lounge and figured out after ten minutes that the dude sitting on the couch reading the paper was Mrs. Fererios hubby. I got to ride in his truck which has WAY too much room and we got to talking. Found out how the happy couple met, how long they have been married and got on the subject of college and majors. He's an awsome guy with a THICK accent. Got to breakfast at the original pancake house, no not IHOP guys, and couldn't decide what to get with all the menu choices. Settled with French Toast and a side of bacon, which i didn't eat. It was funny looking at all the food and plates all over the table. 13 people eating and there was food on the seats, on the table, in the window seal, and in our bellies. Its a good thing that some of us dumped our food onto a single plate cause we may had to pull up an extra table just for the food. We got to Parrot Jungle and i got to see for myself how beautiful it is (well the outside and conference center). Waited around for a little and watched people getting called into their interviews. I got called in and was confident until the judges seemed uninterested.Ended up beating myself up on the inside because i couldn't get ahold of mike and felt like i screwed my interview up entirely.
Made the last minnute decission to skip school today. Felt like i needed the day off. Mike was late and i got PISSED because i didn't want to go to school. Went to the French Bakery cause i got him hooked to the chocolate mouse cakes and worked our way to the book store. Found the corner where they hide the pug books and sat looking at them for lord knows how long. I think we were desturbing the people trying to learn spanish with all our gasp and "how cutes" but i don't really thing "esay libro est rojo" is very important. I swear mike needs to stop meeting strange people. While we waited for borders to open we got to talking to this gut mitch that ended up following us everywhere. Mike found a lightsaver that lights up and makes sound effects and everything and i have to admit it was pretty kewl which means if they had a second one open we would have been play fighting. Went to my place and let him read the notebook. hung out for a while (::angels sing::) and determined we were ment to meet, weither or not date we were at least ment to meet. Went to Publix to waste time and get an orange soda. Went to the new puppy store and fell IN LOVE with the hot dog they had, which bit the hell out of my hand. $320. Guy said that mike had to buy the dog for his beautiful wife and we both had to look at each other and laugh. so the guy insisted that we were engaged instead. I love people like that...no one can ever just date or be friends...they have to be more. Nanny called me so i had to go home and make sure not to get caught getting out of his car instead of getting off the bus and had the hardest time saying good bye. But right now he is at a job interview and i am dying to know how it is going so he can have the money to take care of the sick nugget (his daughter). He'll be over tomorrow though cause he's going to need a sholder to cry on since his drinking partner and listening ear is in love and just moved, so instead he has to settle for his stupid girlfriend.
