fretting over jobs
Holy crap! The awesome research assistant job that I was offered got it's funding pulled by the government. Or at least my position got its funding pulled. Argh! They will probably get money in September, but by then teaching jobs will have already hired. I do not want to be sitting in seminars, piloting uninterested students to intellectual nowhere for another year. And yet that's the only real job lead I have, and getting paid more than $20 to do anything in this region is almost impossible.
I will put my resume in at the local college too I suppose.
Minimum wage positions are not hiring me either, which saddens me. I should think that I am capable of putting boxes on shelves at a decent pace. At this point in my life, if I can make $30,000 a year, I will be happy.
