Color Guard Comin At You...BITCH!!!!

So I have finally picked up the ball and hit the ground running. I am Color Guard (CG) captain, and I need to get this thing together. I have talked to Golceri and Broyles to try and make up an awsome tryout. We already have about half of it together. So far, we have uniform inspection, PTing, and indoor/outdoor presentations. We will run through the basics, and then let them show us what they learned. I am kinda nervous because my job is to carry the American flag. Huge responsibility. First of all, I have to know what everybody else has to do. I have to learn all of the rifle movements, what both flags have to do, call cadence (silently, ie. with my feet), make sure that everybody is in sync, without looking around (go perifrial vision!), and I have to be at the peak of physical apptitude. We have a little over 3 months to get all of this shit going. I am very excited. My first goal as captain is to at least get a CG together. After that, we have Wing (April) and I really wanna win that. Last year, there wasn't much of a fight. There were only 3 sqds last year, and a lot of them were mediocer. I am totally going to bring back the flare that we had 2 years ago. My final goal is to make it to national cadet competition (NCC). I so wanna win that, we were close long ago, but I am willing to take it all the way. I know it is kinda stupid, but right now (besides finals) this is the most important thing to me. Once we have a group together, I have to keep it together through thick and thin. I gotta get these guys sharper, faster, and better than anything else on this planet. It is a freaking huge load, and I am so pshyced to lead it. YAY!!!
