I figure I'd just start back at A and go from there:
1. Art: I don't love all art, but I have loved particular pieces of art in all forms of media. My favourite artist, Wassily Kandinsky believed that art is music for the soul, and that it could visually express musical compositions. I won't ever claim to be a great artist, but I am creative with artistic sensibilities, and without outlets for these sensibilities I wouldn't truly be living.
2. Academics: There hasn't been much time in my life where I wasn't a student; even after graduating from university I was enrolled in College courses for both work and personal skills development. I love to learn! I love the classroom setting. I love learning from other people's questions and perspectives, and challenging myself to become more well-rounded. I've taken courses in adult education, photography, baking, first aid, general gastronomy, and soon I'll be starting some online courses related to time management and improving memory.
3. Animals: I just love their squoodgey-woodgey widdle faces!
4. Answers: I'm inquisitive. I like knowing how things work. I like puzzles and figuring them out. I'm curious. I want to know.
5. Accessories/Ardene: I lump them together since I basically get all of my accessories from Ardene. They have an amazing selection of funky costume jewelry, cute socks, and my new favourite accessory...scarves, which are just in time for...
6. Autumn: Hands down my very favourite season. Don't get me wrong, I love summertime so so much, but autumn has it all: sunshine, crispness in the air, beautifully-coloured leaves, kids are back to school, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and best of all...change. Sure, winter is coming, but the air is vibrating with that feeling of transition. Change is good.
7. Air-conditioning: I lived 28 years of my life without ever owning an air conditioner, and let me tell you, I do not miss those summertime sleepless nights. At 31 I have finally achieved central air. Glorious, glorious central air.
8.
Alfajores: The best cookies I have ever made / the best cookies I've ever tasted. These Argentinian delights are a vanilla-lemon wafer cookie sandwiched with dulce de leche. Bonus points for making your own dulce de leche!
9. Algonquin Park: I have fond memories of Algonquin Park. Immense, beautiful, serene. I would love to go back.
10. Asparagus: I basically didn't have asparagus until I met Jeremy. Now it's our veggie of choice when we're grilling. Grilled asparagus is so so so delicious. Totally worth it. And if you've ever had asparagus, you know what I mean by "it".
