Humbug
I'm still getting reprecussions here at work from the Friday night debacle which is a little annoying. I'm hoping it'll be over and done with come Wednesday the latest. Just know I won't be organizing anything else work/party related any time soon!
Josh's co-worker's thing was fun on Friday night, though, so I'm glad we went. I drank a little too much and was hurting the majority of Saturday, but after a couple of Tylenol and a nap I felt 100% better. Once I woke up and dressed, Josh and I went to pick up his suit from Men's Wearhouse and then grabbed a bite to eat at a fast food-like Greek place in Market Place in Glendale. Since it was the only thing I was planning on eating that day (I still wasn't sure how my stomach would react) I ordered a steak pita sandwich, double salad and pita with hummus. The sandwich was good, but I wasn't too crazy about the salad, and the hummus was just so-so. After we ate, we took a trip to Target because I had to pick up some clothes boxes to wrap gifts. We then bought a couple of candles/air freshners at Illuminations and went back home.
Sunday wasn't too exciting, either. Josh got a haircut, we grabbed a coffee and then attempted to food shop. The grocery store parking lot was packed so we decided to wait. We returned home to clean the apartment and wrestle our fellow neighbors for washing machines. After a ridiculously long time of doing laundry, we were finally able to hit up Vons and shop til we dropped for yummy food :) Unfortunately Josh had to pay for the entire purchase because my finances are still yet to be in order :( Bright side: We partook in the "buy two, get three free" Pepsi sale!! I couldn't believe my eyes...You mean, I can actually get more than 1 free? Rock on! I don't think we've ever had that much soda in our apartment. Hey! I'm not complaining :)
Now I'm just waiting for the next two weeks to go by. I need a vacation, which is sad considering I just started working. ha Oh well. I hope I get a nice rest when I go home.
