This week has been chalk full of intensity. School work has got me pretty stressed. On top of that, I had a dentist appointment to get cavities filled on Friday, which ended up being canceled. I was good and freaked out about that, which lead to me staying up all night and such in the middle of the week. I found out I have to write a 20 page term paper about doing research. Not stoked, though Brad is going to help me out with that, so I think it will be fine. Friday I found out my great aunt May passed away. I can't go to the funeral because I've got work and class and it's an hour and a half away. I feel bad, but just a little bit ago my mom called and told me that my great grandma Van also passed this afternoon. She hasn't been doing well, so it's not a surprise, but....
One to more positive things that happened this week.
Found a perfect looking copy of Beatles - Let It Be for $10!
John Dyer Baizley is having his first solo show ever, near Philly.
Instead of going to Canada like we planned, for Val and I's 6th year anniversary, we booked two nights in downtown Philly and we are going to hang with Gillen and hit up the gallery opening. I'm so very stoked for this.
I finally got the test presses of the Giant Squid record. They sound awesome, except the lead in groove. Plant is going to tell me what's up on Monday.
