So yesterday's dress. I was unhappy with the mustle and its flatness and lack of definition. So today, I took it all apart and put it back together with about 50% more ruching and dyed the edges of the leather.
So here I drew up a pattern for a corset. Here's some pi of the finished product, as taken with bookishbeth's cell phone in my poorly-lit kitchen. Note that the straps are not part of the corset, but belong to an undergarment.
So I successfully added a panel to the front of my victorian peacoat, making it come to mid-calf length all the way around. The panel is made from the sleeves of the coat I cannibalized to make this one awesome. Pix to follow eventually
