(no subject)
so, i go to my english teacher during class b/c i need her help picking a topic for my research paper. As we start discussing topics, another english teacher who she's sitting with notices my Meat Is Murder shirt.
Apparently he loves The Smiths and we go on a discussion on how Morrissey steals from classic literature to write his lyrics and how my english teacher would really like The Smiths.
So now the topic for my research paper is how Morrissey and The Smiths were influenced by classic literature.
This may be the coolest idea that has ever come up. Who would have thought that the first person I meet who knows The Smiths as much as I do would be and english teacher.
In other news....
I'm in love. It's funny, because in movies it's all fun and games, but it can be such a pain(literally). As great as it feels to love someone, it can hurt just as much. Especially when you can't be around them because they live all the way in RICHMOND HEIGHTS and the neither of you drive. That was a bit of a rant. Not a "professional" rant, I've done better and more thorough. Anyway, I love James and it's good times so far. I can't stop thinking about him, which is both good and bad I guess.
Anyway...
I'm so excited about my research paper on THE SMITHS. It will fucking own all previous research papers with the sheer power of Morrissey's hair alone. Once I add in his charm and wit it'll all be over. Along with the research paper, we also have to present it in a 10 minute presentation with visuals. My presentation will fucking own all. Again, also due to Moz's hair and charm. Maybe even flowers.
