I had a good day and a great night. Got news from our realtor that the owner is considering our new offer which is $95,500 and she only pays $1700 in closing costs. It's more money up front for us but a lot less in the long run. We also found out (sadly) that she had a death in her family the other day so we told our realtor that we would let her get through this and then proceed when she's ready. We still want to see the house tomorrow and thus far it's on. I can understand if she changes her mind and doesn't want anyone in the house for a couple of days.
Tonight I had dinner with my brother, Cassidy, and their friends Bob and Matthew A at the Fortune Cookie Chinese Buffet. It was good to see Matthew A. I haven't seen him too much since he worked for me at Sea World a couple of years ago. He's going to school at Arlington. After dinner we headed over to Laser Quest to play a game of laser tag. That was a blast. I really sucked though. I haven't played in quite a long time, plus there were all these little kids there and it was hard to hit their target and with only one eye it's easy for people to sneak up on my left side. Matthew A got 2nd, Cassidy got 3rd, I got 18th. D'oh! Doesn't matter though, it was fun. Later we headed to my parents' house and chilled for a while. I called Ed, he was riding his bike downtown. He rode over to Sunset Station to see Slayer. I had forgotten all about that show. Oh well. Chuck came over and we played Texas Hold 'Em. I was winning big but then I got tired and went all in so I could just be out. Matthew A ended up winning it all (a whole $12).
