Summary: I got hit by a car.
Details: I was crossing the street downtown Calgary at 4th AVE SW and Centre St when a blue SUV turned the corner into me. I got pushed forward a bit, it impacted at my hip, but I didn't fall over, I kept my balance. Afterwards, we exchanged information. Then I walked to the police station to file a police report (which was two blocks away), where I was told I'd have to go home and call them, and then they'd dispatch an officer. I went to work, they paid for a cab to the hospital, official news is that I have minor muscle tissue damage and that's it, I'll be sore for the next 3 days or so, and after that I should be fine. If not, I should get a physiotherapist to do an ultrasound to help break down the damaged tissue. I am currently at home waiting for the police officer.
What a fucking week >_<
