I will go down with this ship. Possibly on it, too.

So, I've got the coffee in hand and I'm surfing the web before I hit the shower and get dressed for work. I present to you somewhat strange and/or ludicrous vid ideas...from me, the Non Vidder. Damn, I hate it when I get these vid plot bunnies ( Read more... )

That's so weird, I was tossing around the idea of doing a V/Lamb vid to Bruce Springsteen's "Bad Desire", it's the same sort of Lolita-ish premise as "Father Figure"...But I think I might actually 'steal' your "Collide" idea, for a V/Lamb. There is something about that song, you can make it fit pretty much any situation.

If you're interested, I guess look for it some time next week.

Oooh, that would rock, Leobrat. We need more Lamb/V vids out there. And since you're stealing the "Collide" idea, can I make slight suggestions for scene/lyric matches? When I was listening to the song last night (because I'm that big of a dork), I was picturing the shot from the Pilot of him sneering at her rape confession during "you make a first impression/I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind."

And for various parts of the chorus, them colliding, I see The Lean as well as the school arrest and him hustling her out of the conference room in "Driver Ed."

And I'm really tossing around the idea of putting forth the fandom-wide "Collide"-a-thon because I think it would be hilarious.

Get out of my head, Mala! I was totally thinking of flashing between their scene in The Rapes Of Graff to the shot of them during the "I need to report a crime" scene during "I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind" too!

This is going to be fun. I just got Magix Movie Edit Pro in the mail yesterday, and I needed a 'test' project.

Dude...Post a "Collide-athon"...

Yay! I can't wait! I'm actually glad that I never got into vidding, don't have the software, etc...because I'd, honestly, get nothing else done. I would fic and vid and probably get fired from my actual job. LOL.

You know what I think would be awesome? A "Collide" video from The Fast and the Furious or Gone in 60 Seconds or some other thing with a lot of car crashes in it. It is actually possible that Fast and the Furious has one of these...I should do some research.

ROTFL! See, the potential for awesomeness is HUGE! I love it!

Oh my God, thanks to you mentioning it, now I'm picturing a Dukes of Hazzard slash vid with the Duke boys constantly "colliding" with Roscoe.

*face-palm*.

More Abigail/Frankie! YAY! That plotline is so trippy and awkward ("Go sleep with Frankie!" "You really want me to sleep with Frankie, my dying husband?" "Yes! Go! *sob*") that cross-generational love can only improve it, especially as written by you! Woot!

And more Jack/Elizabeth of course, but that goes without saying. Loved your meta post; it tied a lot of things together.

The whole Jack/Jennifer/Frankie Thing is SO weird. I thought that last year, too, when Frankie and Jack kept crying all over each other as they tried to hide the truth of Jack's illness from Jen. It's this wacky OT3...and then you throw in Abby and it gets even weirder. Especially since it seems to be Abby's job to shove people together. She's doing the same thing to her parents that she is to Chelsea and Max and it makes you wonder exactly why she doesn't have a life of her own!

In any case, Abigail and Frankie have definitely settled in to my brain!

:-). Glad you liked the Pirate meta!
