I will go down with this ship. Possibly on it, too.
So, I've got the coffee in hand and I'm surfing the web before I hit the shower and get dressed for work. I present to you somewhat strange and/or ludicrous vid ideas...from me, the Non Vidder. Damn, I hate it when I get these vid plot bunnies.
1. A Mary/Nikolas/Alcazar video from GH set to Kane's "Mary Can You Come Outside." From the perspective of Alcazar as Mary's neighbor, worrying about Nikolas abusing her. (They spent a lot of time talking outside in the moonlight, LOL.)
2. A Lamb/Veronica from VM vid set to "Collide," by Howie Day. Because every show, every couple, has a vid set to this song. Everybody. So, seriously, why the Hell not? In fact, I think I would actually propose a "Collide"-a-thon, where you attempt to get any particular pair, the weirder the better, vidded to the song...plausibly! Like, the clips have to match as much as possible, etc.
3. A Lamb/Veronica vid set to "The Glory of Love," by Peter Cetera. Totally relating to "Between The Rock and a Not-So Hard Place," I admit it. For some reason, I feel like this would be one of Lamb's big old seduction songs. LOL. He secretly listens to Journey and Chicago in addition to all the wacky late '80s and early '90s R&B.
4. This one, I've been craving for years, a Pirates of the Caribbean Jack and Elizabeth vid' set to "Mermaid Blues," by Tom McRae. "Walking 2 Hawaii" would be great as well. Even more poignant given the second film. I'd also like to see the cheesily appropriate Dido and "White Flag" vid. LOL.
5. A Lamb/Veronica vid to "Father Figure," by George Michael. Because Lamb is SO not her father figure. LOL.
It's really too bad that I actually have very little ficspiration left for VM. I signed up for the vmtruechallenge, Where in the World is Veronica Mars?, but haven't even remotely started the story. I just don't give a damn. This doesn't bode well. Of course, it doesn't help that I picked Bangladesh. I'm sure I could write some LoVe fic where they're skipping through the third world country making googly eyes at one another and snarking, but...oh...wait...this is me and I don't do that sort of thing. Heh.
The only fic stirrings I am currently having:
-A sequel to "Leap Before You Look," my Abby/Frankie from Days of our Lives fic.
-More POTC: DMC Jack/Elizabeth fic.
-Possibly, maybe some Veronica/Lamb.
