Chapter 6
Changmin’s first date with Yunho was a bit weird, yet he had the nicest time. Yunho was so being all nervous and gentleman-like that it took Changmin to tell him he wasn’t a teenage girl for the other to calm down a little and enjoy himself.
Yunho had quite regretted to invite Changmin to a fancy restaurant because at the end of the dinner his wallet suffered a bit too much. The good part was that after 2 bottles of wine, he didn’t care a lot about it.
After that, they had gone to a park to chat and maybe get themselves completely sober again. But Yunho somehow ended up dancing a little bit of the ‘It’s War’ song to Changmin, who had requested it with enthusiasm, after remembering that even though he knew Yunho was a dancer, he hadn’t ever seen him actually dance.
The only thing Changmin remembered in concrete about that night was when Yunho suddenly leaned into him and kissed him softly on the lips. Those lips were plush and he was sure he wanted to taste more, but even though the alcohol in his system, he managed to control his urges.
The date had ended up around 2am, with Yunho walking Changmin to his shared apartment. Changmin had been tempted again, wanting to ask the man to come in, but he remembered Kyuhyun was probably fast asleep and he had classes early, besides it was too soon for that, wasn’t it?
After a hug and another soft kiss on the lips (and Changmin feeling actually like a teenage girl), Yunho said goodbye and walked back to his own home.
He didn’t realize that a smile drew on his face the whole walk back home, and also, that very same night was only the first one in which Yunho went to bed without having a single thought of Jaejoong…
*****
Yunho was happy. Changmin and him had been dating for 5 months now. At first Yunho had had a lot of doubts about starting a relationship and he knew it was going to be a little difficult since he felt he still needed to fight with some inner demons.
The first 3 months had been quite hard for Yunho. He had been so worried of being just using Changmin as a replacement of something he used to have. He had found himself over analyzing things and asking himself is he was starting to feel something for Changmin or he was starting to feel something for the thought of Changmin. It had been hell, and he must admit he had compared Changmin with Jaejoong at some points.
Yunho discovered that Changmin was fascinating in his own way. He had known the snarky bastard side of Changmin since they had met, but now he was slowly discovering another side that he liked very much. Changmin was passionate, humble and really caring. He knew he wasn’t good at many things, but he always tried and tried until he became better.
Yunho remembered that one time Changmin cooked for him. The young man had given him a box with the food he had done for lunch, trying to contain his blush and frowning. When the older man grabbed the box from Changmin’s hands, he noticed he had cut and burnt, probably trying over and over to make it taste good, since he knew Changmin didn’t cooked a lot. The food hadn’t been as tasty as Jaejoong’s, but Yunho ate it as if it was the best delicacy in the world. For Yunho, it was the best lunch he had ever had.
That day he felt a lump in his throat and something inside his chest. He learnt Changmin was completely different from Jaejoong and he was very glad for that.
One of the most difficult things Yunho had to do now that he was with Changmin was to control his jealousy. He had become a very jealous person and the fact that Changmin was gorgeous wasn’t helping at all.
Certain day, he almost had a fight with Kyuhyun, when he saw the guy hugging Changmin at a park. Yunho had recognized him as the guy Changmin was with that night in the bar, a long time ago. Fortunately Changmin had noticed Yunho was near and waved at him. He introduced Kyuhyun to Yunho as his best friend and roommate, which calmed Yunho a lot at that time.
But not everything had been going through difficult things. One thing Yunho loved about his relationship with Changmin, was the sex. They had had sex for the first time in their 6th date if Yunho remembered well. It had been extremely good and to Yunho’s happiness, Changmin might seem quite shy on the outside but he was very passionate, kinky and creative.
Oh yes, these past months had been good for Yunho in so many ways, even though the tasks he had to overcome.
Now, Yunho was running. He was going to meet Changmin at a small restaurant near his work, since he had just an hour to eat and luckily Changmin was free as well.
“Sorry I’m late, Minnie,” Yunho apologized after he entered the place and walked towards where his boyfriend was sitting. “The meeting ended up just 5 minutes ago, I swear.”
Yunho kissed his lover quickly on the lips and took his seat, with a smile. Changmin smiled and sighed. He was sure the meeting had ended late, but also he was sure Yunho probably got caught up talking with someone. He was just like that, always saying hi to all the people. Maybe that was why everybody loved him.
“Don’t worry about it, Yun,” Changmin responded, as Yunho reached for one of his hands on the table. “You wanted to tell me something?”
“Oh yes!” Yunho exclaimed, scolding himself mentally for almost forgetting the good news he had. “I just found a really nice apartment near the center of Seoul, so I’m moving by the end of the month.” He gulped. “And I know it’s probably too soon, but I want you to consider to move in with me…”
Changmin gasped and then smiled.
Like a month ago Yunho had decided to move out from the apartment after he had hinted that maybe Changmin could bring some of his stuff over and Changmin had declined the implied offer. Yunho had immediately sensed that it was probably because Changmin was still a little unsure of himself. Yunho couldn’t quite get why Changmin felt inferior to Jaejoong at some points and that was exactly why he avoided to bring out any comment that could lead to mention his still husband, but ex-lover.
Changmin had become a very important person in Yunho’s life and he was sure he would give anything to keep him near. He knew it was fast, but Yunho was almost sure he was in love again.
“I-I…” Changmin stuttered. He took a deep breath and was about to continue talking when someone interrupted him.
Yunho?” A beautiful girl asked, as she approached them. “Oh my God! It’s you! How are you?” She asked excitedly.
Yunho looked up at the girl and smiled. He stood up and hugged the girl. “Sooyoung! What a surprise! I’m good, thank you!” he responded with a smile. He turned to look at Changmin, who had a confused look and smiled at him. “Let me introduce you to my boyfriend: Changmin,” he added turning to look again at the girl and grabbing Changmin’s hand as the young man stood up, still confused.
Sooyoung looked very surprised at first, but then she smiled widely. “You’re fucking lucky! He’s gorgeous!” She exclaimed happily. “Nice to meet you, Changmin. I’m Sooyoung.” She bowed.
Changmin bowed as well. “Nice to meet you, too, Sooyoung.”
“I gotta go, Yunho! It was nice to see you’re good,” Sooyoung said quickly as another girl waved at her in one of the tables in the back of the restaurant. She hugged Yunho and turned to look at Changmin with a smile. “And it was a pleasure to meet you, Changmin. Please take care of Yunho.”
Changmin nodded and watched as she made her way to the table where she was called to. “Who is she? She’s beautiful…” Changmin asked as he and Yunho sit down again.
Yunho, who was eyeing the menu, looked up at him. “She’s Jaejoong’s sister,” he answered.
“Oh,” Changmin responded, wishing he hadn’t had asked in first place. Part of him didn’t like that Yunho still talked with Jaejoong’s family, but his other part knew he just couldn’t tell Yunho who to talk or not. It was his decision and Changmin had to accept they were part of Yunho’s past along with Jaejoong. He couldn’t just erase them and pretend they never happened.
It was after reading some of the dishes of the menu that it really hit Changmin. Yunho had just introduce him as his boyfriend to his ex-sister in law just after he had proposed him to move in with him to another apartment.
Changmin smiled in realization and suddenly stole a kiss from Yunho, making the older one jump in surprise. The younger just shrugged and continued reading the menu.
Maybe after all, he hadn’t had to still feel so insecure. Yunho had just proved they were now in some kind of serious relationship, hadn’t he?
It was right then when Changmin realized other thing: he was completely and utterly in love with Yunho.
Damn!

Next Chapter A/N: Sorry for the late update but I had a reality check, courtesy of my abandoned thesis and College. Also my sister (who lived with me) decided to move in with our parents again, therefore I had apartments to look for to move in (because this one is big and expensive for myself). Oh, and I had a problem writing this chapter since I truly, honestly, completely suck and developing romance! xD I just hope you like this and didn't disappoint anyone...and if it does, then I'm so sorry!
Almost forget! HoMin smut coming next! xD But you will have to bear a little with me because probably updates won't be as fast as before since I have to really graduate and finish the fucking thesis! People out there who is younger than me (everyone I think! xD) when you do a thesis, choose an easy subject/proyect! Seriously!
