tonight's Being Human (US) and thoughts on tomorrow's Supernatural

That was a thoroughly enjoyable season premiere, written by the showrunner of Being Human, Anna Fricke - who is also Jeremy Carver's wife. I'd like to note that she took over as solo showrunner last season and IMO has drastically improved the quality of the show. Depending on how tomorrow's Supernatural goes I might ask her to have a talk with her husband about the finer points of showrunning ; )
[spoilery Being Human sqeeuing behind the cut for future eps]Kenny's running the town! Aidan humps his blanket in his sleep and has a threesome possibly? Does it count when his current girlfriend turns into his wife from centuries ago? and YAY Katherine Isabelle (aka Ava from Supernatural) and MARK PELLEGRINO IS COMING BACK! ANY SEASON OF ANYTHING IS AUTOMATICALLY 200% BETTER WHEN PELLEGRINO IS INVOLVED! Thems just facts! and and Sally has new super-ghost powers including non-burny fire! and Josh and Nora have a Ladyhawke thing going on that's kind of tragic but will likely be resolved in two more eps or so.
and YAY new Supernatural tomorrow but ack I'm nervous.[brief vent under the cut]I just want Sam to have appropriate levels of anger about his angel pacemaker and (for the later half of the season) for him to kick ass again. Please. I'm so so done with wussy, lack of agency, dying, or near-dying Sam. This is the guy who beat Lucifer for fuck's sake. The guy who when properly fueled can take out a dozen demons simply by wanting it. Stop having him blown down by a stiff breeze. It pisses me off.
