tonight's episode review is incoherent and out of sequence due to lack of sleep and also intense amounts of love of Edlund's writing. Be forewarned.

Sam with the Knights of the Round Table and Sir Galahad and he can't ever do a quest because he isn't pure OMG I almost cried.
and his childhood memories of Dean
SAM D:
(those are not blue sparkles, they are blue tears)
and Metatron! I LOVE!
and KEVIN! I LOVE!! So confident in the face of impending death
and Naomi! and the gore! such an Edlund episode- and old school Edlund ep
If you've ever been on my journal, you know how much I love Sam's demon blood and powers, and destiny, etc. So it pains me on some level to think of him being purified. BUT! Sam wants that, and even if it doesn't work out that way (because when does anything ever work out right for the Winchesters) - seeing the relief on his face, the idea that it could actually still happen is so wonderful, and so Sam and I just want to hug him and tell him he doesn't have to be purified because everything he did, he did for the right reasons.
Crowley critiqued his demon-actor's Sam portrayal! He's as anal about trying to get the voices right as I am!!
The Biggersons! "There's just so many..." Classic Edlund. Castiel's technique was brilliant- and hiding the stone inside yourself - very "Fifth Element" of you Cas ; )
Just wonderful, thank you Edlund. Next week is Dabbs, and Abaddon is coming back, yay! And Crowley is killing everyone the Winchesters ever saved, boo.
Okay so what is the third trial actually going to be? Are they going to cure Abaddon? Crowley? If so, how?
