Okay. Watching this little clip is probably going to put me off taking Film Studies forever. I think because I didn't watch it, it increased my fear of it but HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT IT LOOKS EFFING CREEPY.
I mean. It's a girl. Getting her eye cut out. While still in its socket. And the music--it's so disturbing.
Ironically, I just dissected a cow's eye in Science yesterday and I found it kind of fun.
....Anyways. Un Chien Andalou is a film I'm never going to touch for the rest of my life.
EDIT. OKAY. Who was the incredible idiot who stopped people from watching 72 minutes on Megavideo? I didn't even watch 72 minutes in the first place. Dear god.
EDIT THE SECOND. Soooo. I saw a picture of the eye-cutting. After the original shock and OMGSHITSHITasdkfhalfja moment, I decided that it was not that bad. Not too bad, if you take that [too] calm expression of the girl's face and mute the way too cheery music off. Yeah, I'm still going to dream of it anyways.
