Australia's treatment of its Indigenous peoples really is a national embarassment. They keep throwing money at it, when the fact of the matter is no one thing will work; the only solution that I can see is working community by community, and tailoring a different response for each one.

So the West is being hypocritical. Again. Cause we only care about freedom and democracy in some countries. The ones that aren't our 'friends'. Democracy is great in theory, but if it will cause any disruption to business as usual, Washington prefers dictatorship. And as a good little servant state, we'll stand right behind them.
