wierd.....
sooo i went on the tour of maclearen youth correctional facility today... it was very interesting of course and completely not what i was thinking at all.. its like a little world wtihin the world... they have their own school, gym, soccer/football/baseball field they have a center for gah i think of the word... like a green house thing they have basketball courts all freakin over the place i mean if you didn't know any better you'd think it was a basketball camp they have their own little cotteges for groups of people they have everything... and then you actually go into the different buildings and you see the solitary confinment rooms and holding room with the bed with restraints all over it and you see the faces of the people behind those doors that seem so normal until you hear the different things that get them there... its so weird it has left me with this feeling... like the feeling you get when you see an accident.. you know... its where kip kinkle lived for like 5 years.. its just weird. AND it wasn't like oh theres the school no it was like here lets walk through the middle of a school lesson where the kids who have done things as bad as aggrivated assult are feet away from you just sitting at tables and lets invade their privacy by walking around their "dorms" and looking at all of their stuff... its just an odd feeling.. i dunno its weird i'm not quite sure how to describe it i just can't seem to get over it though...
