Like used! Slightly shotgunned!
Not happy with Apple. My iBook's logic board fried again. This would be its replacement logic board installed less than 6 months ago after the first one fried. I recognized the symptoms right away (the screen freezes and flickers crazily when it starts up, if it starts up at all, which it usually doesn't) so I'm assuming it's the same thing. The good news: my hard drive should thus be undamaged. The bad news: once again, it happens during finals week. NYARGH.
In more happy news, Arran, The One And Only John Tan, and I went down to Big Sur yesterday, as a break from hardcore studying. That resulted in an extremely quality day of hiking, clambering around on rocks/beaches, wading across extremely cold rivers, and general merriment. And 1940s / Christmas music in the car, as only John Tan can provide in abundance. A lot of photos to come...once I finally have my own computer to which I can import and upload them.
