So I wrote in here right before I got my puppy and suddenly, I got sucked into the void of nothingness after that. I'm glad to say my puppy *IS* still alive and so am I. It was a rough few weeks in the beginning there, but I think we're starting to find our groove. I love her to death, even if I tell her I want to punch her in the face at times (

Oddly, even though I watched both episodes of Heroes the fact that FuturePeter had a scar didn't stick with me. I mean, I could see it on his face, but I wasn't paying attention to it anything beyond 'how we distinguish FuturePeter from PresentPeter'.

But (and like I said, it only occured to me when reading your comments above) ever since they met in Season 1 and InvisbleDude/9thDoctor helped him discover how to use his power, Peter has been able to tap into Claire's healing ability. So how does FuturePeter have a scar?

Is this some clever trick to show us how, now that Sylar has also copied Claire's ability, either (a) they're not able to copy it to the full extent of Claire's immortality or (b) that the ability does have weaknesses that can be exploited. If either of those theories turn out to be true, then FuturePeter probably knows how to injure Sylar.

Or I could just be reading way too much into what the writers decided to use in order to differentiate between Future and Present versions of Peter (which is how I saw it when originally watching).
