Fall is in the air...

So I wrote in here right before I got my puppy and suddenly, I got sucked into the void of nothingness after that. I'm glad to say my puppy *IS* still alive and so am I. It was a rough few weeks in the beginning there, but I think we're starting to find our groove. I love her to death, even if I tell her I want to punch her in the face at times (all in good fun, of course. I wouldn't hurt that pup for the world!, and currently, she's at the pet sitters since I went on a family vacation for a few days.

We didn't bring her because very few beaches allow pets, first of all, and secondly, we didn't know how it would all work out when we planned it a few months ago. Now my mom was wishing we brought her - my MOM... folks, my parents have come a long way with this dog!

Anyway, vacation was nice - despite a few bumps like rain, a few racists (but it was Alabama, what did I expect?), and the condo was a little messed up when we got there. The kids were good for the most part and when they left a day earlier than we did, I actually missed all the chaos.... for a little bit. Then I took a lot of naps on the beach :)

So fall is in the air and when I mean 'fall' I mean 'fall television' has begun for me.

HIMYM and "Heroes"? Awesome.

So I thought tonight's episodes were pretty good. Although, if you compare it to all of last season, Sylar jumping up and down in the middle of Issac's painting would've been pretty good! It did start out as a brand new kind of show, which was both good and bad. Some things kind of threw me for a loop as to how it all led up to it, mostly Mohinder's want to create that serum. Did I miss something last season? Prolly. I only watched last season once, anyway.

Mohinder bothered me the most, I think. His whole "Peter Parker in that God-awful Spiderman 3" bit was... weird. But even his attitude before then was odd to me. Also, Peter just kind of... annoyed me. I don't know - his powers are so Godly, he's not even really interesting anymore. He's just a whiney brat with a scar across his face.

Other than those two things, I enjoyed the rest of the episodes and how some characters are opened up a little more. I'm curious about what the hell they're doing with Niki (aka Tracey) and it was nice to see LInderman back in some fashion. Also, despite my above complaint, it was a nice twist that it was Peter who attempted to kill Nathan.

HIMYM was okay - not one of the best, but it brings up a nice storyline with Barney and Robin. I'm still not sure if I'm sold with that, though. It's almost like the whole Rachel/Joey thing on "Friends." Not sold. But who knows. It still had same feel of the show with Ted trying to prove Stella is the one to marry by making her watch Star Wars for the first time.

This show always has its sweet moments.

I am excited the fall season is gearing up and Mondays will be a full plate once "Chuck" comes into play next week. THAT I am so excited about! :)
