Bad: camera's in repair for a bad shutter mechanism (my internet sleuthing proved true, ha!) and it'll cost me $237 + tax.
Good: I was told it could be ready as early as tomorrow! The job is done. I can pick it up in the morning. :O
That good made me happy 'cause I was hoping I'd have it back in time for this Sunday. The 9th annual No-Pants Subway Ride shall be happening; and while I'll abide by the rules and not take any snap shots during the farce, when all is said and done and folks are (hopefully) bar-hopping in their undies again I hope to take some pictures.
After 1,200 people showed up to participate last year I kind of wondered how they'd handle the organization this year, assuming it grew again as it has been every year. Their current plan, splitting every one into different meeting places and onto different train routes, looks pretty efficient and thought out. I hope all goes as planned, LOL.
I am so stuck on this resume edit... gotta focus but can't.
