One week on

So it’s been a week since leaving the Library. I’m getting out of bed a bit later (5:30 vs 4:30), eating more than is necessary, sitting around with the pup, and doing those small things I’ve written about. Journaling has been my way of keeping track of my activities as time slips by…

Windy, humid, misty day all day. My indoor hygrometer registered 86%, and along with bathroom and dining room mirrors fogging over one of the smoke alarms triggered! So damn damp.

Little pool is 69°F. I tried a dip, but didn’t last long. I did drain off excess water, change a very dirty filter (yay!), and add shock.

I did some cleaning and organizing of things in the room I have my computer items. Not enough junk got tossed, but a lot was sorted. This was my middle child’s room for many years and still harbors a lot of his possessions. It has also been a convenient place to shift things to when straightening up other areas. Old printers, VCRs, Blu-Ray players live there among other ‘might need’ items :o)

The new pc arrived today! I worked with this for a couple of hours, mainly getting it set up. I added FireFox, Foxit, Apache Open Office, and Norton. Tomorrow I’ll look to get the printer and scanner set up. The elder pc had more USB ports on the back for these, so I may have to rely on the front ports on the new one at least for the infrequently used scanner.

Co-Pilot looks interesting. I clicked it to see what it actually is for, asked it for a bunny pic, and damned if it didn’t only do that but asked if a carrot wouldn’t be nice :D Dall-E 3. And, as I was in my Microsoft profile, it asked if I wanted to save it to one of the Creator folders.
