six of seven

Mar 12, 2012 20:39

Today I finished the fifth (of six) prompt posts for this month. I'm quite proud of myself, even though I did have some issues getting started/figuring out how to write a couple of them. I don't know if I have a favorite, but Handiwork was fun to write. Not that they all weren't, but the following of the pairing of Sanada/Yagyuu isn't big and I ( Read more... )

I did! I felt I needed a change.

We're talking about this now, but from a personal standpoint, it's really hard to find gems amidst all the other junk. I don't have the patience.

Yeah. I thought it was on the rude side.

:D ONE OF THESE DAYS YOU SHALL BLING MINE OUT AND I WILL GO AROUND EVERY WHERE FLASHING THEM AND BEING LIKE, MY BRO SUNNY DID THESE.

I'm done. Shit was white and not showing up. CSS powers go.

Exactly. I just feel like there's more quality on AO3. I don't know. OMG that sounds elitist. I don't mean it to. :|

Yeah. That really bothered me.

:D THAT IS ME. RIGHT NOW.

You should be proud <3 All of them were lovely to read!

Ahhhhh, I still need to properly review I have a few other reviews to take care of too. I'm less busy this week so *crosses fingers*

I'm glad that I gave you a prompt that you enjoyed writing! I love the pairing and I loved the fic you wrote with the brandy too :D Just read Love Game and Stripopoly today - I was all alfjalk;fjda with Oshitari's rail leaning and snark and Ooooo-ing at Tezuka and Shiraishi raising the stakes on their game.

Totally understandable about how you feel about ff.net. I don't really read there at all because it's hard to find a good fic, but I still post there because that's where I met quite a few of my friends. And I the giant PoT/FE longfic going on there (which might be one of the few recent longfics?).

Your nails look purdy. *_*

Thank you!!!

No rush. I'm just glad you liked it.

My Oshitari is so ridiculous. He tends to like making people uncomfortable. lolololol Tezuka is a secret sex pot.

Like I said, I totally have nothing against people who post there, but it's just not for me.

:D

Ahahaha I'm going to stalk all your fic. ALL.

I kind of love ff.net. It was where I learned what fanfiction was, the good, bad and ugly. I think it's kind of just like a mecca for all fic, no matter what it is. I mean, I think everyone starts out there, though some (most?) move on and/or change names to hide from their earlier works. Ha. I think people think their stuff will get more hits there as it's one of the most well-known sites and is comfortable for a lot of people. Bahdunno. I hate digging through all the bad/abandoned fic, but it's an old standby.

That comment was, uhm, forward? Maybe the commenter was trying to be helpful, thinking you needed guidance into the world of fanfic. Or maybe they just love you and wish to stalk you. Either way, it's kind of inappropriate.

Oooh, your nails! Pretty! Also, is that a tattoo?

LOL \o/

OMG YOU GOT MY COMMENT. Younger and less experienced, yes. I really do think people move on from there. I still like it, though, when I can find something good that makes me have strange tenipuri dreams. :D Plus, I like to see the rec lists connected to stories I like.

You've made great progress this month, I'm proud of you too. <3 They were all much much fun to read!

About that review, here's how I would have responded:
"You TOTALLY have to post this on ff.net."
No, I don't.

"If you'd allow me to, I'd like to re-post this on ff.net"
No chance in hell. (and then stalk ff.net to make sure she didn't)

"Aww, that's too bad but understandable"
I don't particularly care what you think.

I have nothing against ff.net, but the entire "reposting" business just raised my hackles. Gah. Anyway,

Woooo nails! :D Pretty pretty!
