I HATE BEING SICK!!!
:( I'm sick. I hate it.
So.. yesterday Matt and I picked out our new apartment. It's right next to my mom's place. Not cool.. but it was the nicest one there. Brand new carpet, brand new frige.. nice place. We move next weekend. Dan isn't all that thrilled about the whole moving next to my mom thing, but I assured him the walls are thick :) It's kinda exciting to be moving back to a nice normal apartment. Last night Matt and I went to Target and got a new garbage can, shower curtain liner, coffee maker and toaster. Very exciting stuff! haha We actually got a lot and only spent $63! It was very cool. We just need to get a bed for him.
Tonight there is a la carte at the Milwaukee County Zoo. It's where restaurants and little bands from all over the area set up shop at the zoo and you can sample food from all over the world, see the animals and listen to all different kinds of music. I haven't gone since I was a kid. Jane from work wants to go.. but I'm still not feeling very well. Yesterday I came home early from work, today I had to come in. I don't like staying home sick. I always feel bad.
Dan has the night off, so I'm trying to think of something cheap we can do. We'll probably end up looking at the new place, maybe packing a few boxes and getting free coffee from Matt.
Jennifer from work told me today that I didn't hear it from her.. but I should expect to see an engagement ring around Christmas time! I told her she was lying. I think that would be too soon for Dan. I think just before or just after he moves in in March is more logical. More Dan too!
Crap.. I think his nephew's birthday party is next weekend... What am I going to do about that and moving. grrr.... I'll have to talk to Dan.
I think it's time to put my head down on my desk again. I need a nap.
